This place is kind of tucked away in the industrial district, but truly a great place to hang out for a few hours when the weather is right. They have a huge variety of beers, as well as some "hard" teas and juices, and non alcoholic. It's a huge space so great for large groups and parties.

I love urban south! This is one of my favorite local breweries I can't believe it's taken me this long to leave a review. They have several options no matter your beer taste. I prefer sours and they always have something new and funky to try. Their seasonal beers are where it's at. Love it! The brewery is in like a large warehouse so it can get hot in there but there are lots of fans to keep the air moving. You still might want to wear something you don't mind sweating in though. There is also ample outdoor seating. All seating is picnic tables. So if you are old and broken, might be hard on your back lol. Can we get like ONE table with chairs with backs? Oh well. Kid and dog friendly inside and out! That being said, along with the aforementioned fans, it can get pretty loud in there. There are arcade style games for the kiddos and the young at heart to keep them occupied. But still, can be a little overstimulating. They usually have a food truck OR they have their own little food trucj that sells smash burgers and fries. Pretty damn good imo. This is the perfect place to spend a Saturday in March when they boil crawfish and hang out with your buddies in a chill/casual environment.

So how we stumbled upon this place started in a sale section of a beer store back home and another brewery being closed but instantly recognizing the name. When we walked in it was so cool inside. I just want to spend hours here. It is definitely dog friendly. The bartender was very friendly as well. The beers are pretty decent. They had a huge selection. Definitely try the carnival time sours. The strawberry one tastes like a toaster strudel. My husband's favorite is the Baltic Porter.

I love the unpretentious setting, large space and most importantly, the variety of beers to try. Went with the flights to try as many beers as possible and really enjoyed all.

It probably shouldn't have taken me this long to write a review for Urban South Brewery. I've come here quite often for happy hour, beer, and events. This brewery constantly has activities going on. During the week, there's Bingo on Wednesdays and Trivia on Tuesdays. There are art festivals and celebrations on the weekends and so much more! I've partook in a lot of what they have to offer and always enjoy the efforts they put behind the ambiance. I'm a big fan of IPAs and Urban South always has so many options! They have a handful of solid core beers but are always releasing new ones. Urban Smash outside is also good. The food truck is located right outside and have a Smashburger available along with fries and other goodies. Service: The beertenders are always so friendly! And will let you sample beers before choosing. Drinks: All sorts of beers! Happy Hour: All Week from 3pm-6pm. $5 core beers. Parking: Street Parking Pets: Dogs are welcome both inside and outside.

This was my first time visiting Urban South! I had a great experience. Me and a few friends came to trivia night (got 3rd place!!) which was really fun! The trivia was NOT easy but it was still fun. I highly recommend trying the purple magic sour. It tasted like grape juice!! I also really enjoyed the french fries but my smash burger was very mediocre-- not a fan of cooked red onion and the pickles had a weird taste. However, I loved the access to unlimited ketchup/mustard!!! Dog friendly and very helpful/welcoming staff. I'll be back for trivia next week!

Service was perfect, I had a chance to sample several beers before marrying a pour! Great open warehouse spacing, climate was comfortable, they also have a good truck outside that had a great burger & fries. Definitely give this place the FYE! stamp!!

First time here! The large warehouse was the perfect temperature, not hot or freezing! Fans circulated the air around beer hall style seating comprised of several rows of picnic tables. The drink offerings are varied and expansive allowing guests to choose from 3 sizes of pours for beers, sours, and hard seltzers, an option for choose your own beer flights, plus thc drinks, frozen drinks and n/a beverages. Wednesday is bingo night and it's free to play and win urban south merchandise. Cash or card accepted. Food available through urban smash-great value ie smashburger and fries combo for $13 (card only). Outdoor seating available as well but those picnic tables could use a good wipe down-don't wear white pants! Kids and dog friendly!
